ON THE NATURE OF “GOD” PROCESSES
This class develops process oriented innerwork to explore the nature and power of deepest beliefs, God concepts and miracles. There will be a special emphasis on understanding and experiencing various qualities associated with the deities. In particular, we shall be investigating how processwork contributes to our understanding of mysticism, religion and science.
For at least 50,000 years people have believed in gods.

What can processwork theory and experience reveal about this ancient and more or less general human tendency?

What is the general nature of our highest principles, dreams and hopes?
How do they enter our moment to moment experiences?

Why, as Mother Theresa has said, do the Gods sometimes seem silent during times of greatest need?

What is fundamentalism?

How do god concepts connect science and religion?

Each Friday afternoon class will be divided into theory, demonstrations, and new kinds of inner oriented-meditative individual-dyad training experiences
We shall consider: Monolatrism, Science and Religion. The Nature Of Your Beliefs. Creation And “Omnipotence” Re-Enacting How The Universe Began
Laws, Ethics And “Omniscience” Fundamentalism + Your Own Morals.
Mysticism And Unified Fields. Omnipresence +Synchronicity

THE ART and INNER WORK of CREATING TOTEM SPIRIT FIGURES
In many cultures throughout history people have fashioned totem spirits - nature, animal and human-like figures - as expressions of their inner lives and the powers of the world and land around them. These figures have been used for many purposes including ritual, play, and shamanic practices.

In these three morning classes we’ll create our own totem spirits. Starting with inner awareness methods focused on gaining access to our dreaming, we’ll follow the way and the art in which our inner- and earth-based experiences create reflections of themselves in everyday time and space.

Using folk art materials (such as corn husks, straw, wood, and fabric) as well as other materials (such as wire and plaster cloth) we’ll create simple or complex, small or large figures, depending upon each participant’s inner process. Dialoguing with and unfolding our creations further, we’ll gain access to the wisdom and guidance they bring to our lives.

Please bring a camera if you have one (in order to track the creative process over time). Additional contribution for materials: $15/per person to be paid in class. (Note: If you like, bring any scarves, old material, nature objects, or other odds and ends that catch your attention that you might contribute to everyone’s creativity!)
Amy Mindell, Ph.D.
Cost: $135 before May 8; $150 thereafter.
Thursdays, May 15, 22 and 29, 9:15 am - 12:15 am.

THE MYSTERY OF TEACHING, LEARNING, AND THERAPY with Individuals and Groups in Normal and Altered States
This class is for anyone hoping to explore the mystery of communication and improve their ability to communicate with an audience, that is to teach, learn, and facilitate normal and altered state situations.

The Problem:
Teachers, therapists, lecturers and learners of all kinds, share similar quantum “entangled” processes. Each wants to know how to get messages across to the “other” Quantum entanglement creates some of the mystery and fear behind imagined feedback and difficulties learning and preparing. This class renews ideas about the meaning of process oriented education and training.

Content and Methods:
In this class there will be theory, supervision of work done in the center, and dyad exercises to train using new “processmind” procedures. Some classes will include video study as we explore the meaning of: “DON’T PREPARE, JUST SHOW UP”!

There will be training in dealing with your own educational history, and how you learn best to be a teacher, facilitator or trainer. There will be focus upon dealing with feedback processes.
This class is interactive, experimental and focused on the facilitator’s development. If you are interested in getting supervision “in the center” at practice applying processwork to one or more of a large spectrum of applications, please write arny ahead of time.

Basic Theory:
Teaching, learning and facilitating process work involve processmind awareness of role reversals such as learner-teacher, facilitator-client, manager- consumer that make life creative and mysterious. Regardless of what we facilitate, we inadvertently teach our own particular relationship to life. Knowing this can be transformative. But to know it, we need access to certain altered states of consciousness.

Class 1
. Teacher’s Supervision . What You Really Teach and How to Deal with Feedback. Video Study
Class 2. The Learner’s Spirit “1 Signal Zigzag” with Video Study of The Learning Process.
