Cancer, Heart-Lung Issues, Stroke, Anoxia, Head Trauma, Dementia, Depression, Delirium, Locked-In, and Coma are all varying forms of consciousness near end of life. Being left alone in altered states can be scarier than death. Process Oriented Coma Communication: Someone is Always Home, invites creative communication. We replace anxiety with opportunity for growth, opening patients and families to relationship beyond loss and grief. For nurses, care aids, chaplains, counselors, social workers, doctors, volunteers, students, and family members.
