Community and Global Health Conference
Join us to share and discuss innovative approaches and solutions to health, illness, aging, death and dying, as well as systemic issues of health community relationships and policy making. Organized by the International Association of Process Oriented Psychology, this conference invites participation from the Process Work community, medical professionals, alternative health practitioners, health activists, policy makers, and consumers throughout the Pacific Northwest and around the globe.
The 3-day conference will address individual approaches to health and end of life care, as well as issues of health community relationships and policy making. We are organizing three exceptional public events as part of the conference:
- The conference will open with a public lecture by Arny and Amy Mindell speaking on Rainbow Medicine, Dreambody & Nonlocality, Wednesday February 24, 2010.
- Thursday February 25, we will have a public lecture and panel discussion with Gary Reiss and Pierre Morin and others on Deep Inner State Awareness & Palliative Care
- Friday, February 26th, we will have a public open forum on Global Medicine for Global Health.
- Saturday, February 27th, New Health Leadership: Health disparity/equity, care-team and consumer-provider relationships, health policy, health leadership and partnership systems.
All events will be held at PSU's Smith Memorial Student Union [SMSU], 1825 SW Broadway, Portland, Oregon.
