Ayako is a certified process
worker and has a private practice in Portland, Oregon. She is
a licensed psychologist in Japan and has extensive clinical experience
as a psychologist at a medical university in Tokyo. She also
has over 10 years of experience in private practice. She leads
workshops and educational trainings in psychology, leadership,
and group facilitation internationally. She is a faculty member
of Process Work both in the US and Japan.
Having trained in Psychology
both in Japan and the US and having lived in different parts
of the world, Ayako combines her many perspectives into a unique,
East-West approach that helps clients view their issues in a
new light. She truly believes that everyone has the potential
to achieve happiness and is passionate about guiding clients
to find their inner source of wisdom and creativity.
One of her current interests
is group facilitation and its applications including organizational
development and international humanitarian and development activities.
For example, she trained staff at non-profit organizations in
Bangladesh to better serve street children.
