Caroline
Lee Spark, Ph.D.
Caroline Spark, Ph.D. is a certified Process Worker, with
an MA in Process Work and a Ph.D. in research psychology. Her
research interests include qualitative research methodology;
diversity issues in counseling and psychotherapy; and philosophical
issues in psychology. Caroline works part-time for the Process
Work Institute as an advisor, supervisor and study committee
member. She has extended her counseling practice into working
with dogs and their human families, and offers innovative dog
training and behavior programs in and around Portland and Yachats,
Oregon.

Caroline brings a breadth of
experience and wealth of enthusiasm to her counseling and consulting
practice. A big admirer of Process Work and its applications,
Caroline has also studied a range of counseling approaches, including
Gestalt therapy, family systems therapy, and Rogerian counseling.
She particularly enjoys the creativity that arises at the intersection
of different approaches and viewpoints, and is interested in
exploring ways of enhancing the learning process in Process Work
training and supervision.
Caroline's love of research developed
during her doctoral studies. She enjoys the creativity involved
in helping others to design and carry out research, particularly
the final project required by Process Work Diploma and MA programs.
Caroline's private practice extends into consulting with individuals
and families about dog behavior problems. A certified dog trainer
and behavior consultant, she provides a range of services in
Portland and Yachats, OR, including in-home training, board &
train, and vacation training programs. She has specialized in
providing remedial training and support to psychiatric service
dogs and their handlers. Her web site is

In her spare time, Caroline loves gardening, hiking, and is always
happy to hang out with dogs.
