Sonja was originally from Switzerland and has lived in Portland,
Oregon since 1990. She was one of the original founders of Process
Work in Zurich, Switzerland. She has always been fascinated with
the deep feelings and experiences in people, and their search
for meaning, and loves her work as psychologist. She is founder,
director and supervisor at the River's Way training clinic. She
devotes much of her time to the "I have a Dream" foundation,
because children and diversity issues are a personal passion
of hers. She is an outdoorsy person who jogs and in the summer
rides her bike long distances. She adores her dogs which she
trains for Search and Rescue, is keen on planting veggies in
her garden, collecting mushrooms, cooking and then eating them.
