Then, at thirteen or fourteen, she had her first out-of-body experience.
It’s the kind of experience that leaves a person wondering whether they imagined the whole thing. She didn’t have to wonder for long. A news report came on not long after, confirming something she’d perceived while she was out of her body.
When she read Arnold Mindell’s book Dreaming While Awake, it totally clicked. She delighted in finding a paradigm big enough to hold what she’d been carrying since she was a kid. She enrolled in PWI’s MAPW program to become a diplomate.
And then she failed the dreaming exam.
Of all the things to fail! The woman who’d been out of her body at thirteen. The woman who’d spent the last many years focusing on dreams, sat down for a test to measure exactly that and came up short. It could have been the end of the story, but Hélène took it as an invitation to go deeper. She returned to the material fresh and dedicated. More resolved to really, truly, fully learn this area of Processwork and the human experience.

Alongside becoming a Processworker, she studied radio, TV, and film and evolved a career in marketing and advertising. She’s also a Reiki practitioner, a trained shamanic worker and a geomancer, tending power spots on the earth.
It’s a strange combination on paper, the mystic thinker and the media exec, but Hélène will tell you it’s all the same foundation. Imagining into the not yet manifest and communicating it in a way that others can receive it. She uses that training now, translating the quantum field and the language of dreams into something we can work with together.
She describes her flavor of Process Work as being on the mystical side, oriented toward the unseen. The consciousness working behind the scenes, the energies inviting us to dive below the surface.
Her days still drum to the rhythm of ritual. She does an energy clearing practice before client work and unfolds an impactful dream at least once a week. When she teaches, she’s aiming for what she calls a cohesive toroidal field. Meaning a space where past, present and future meet and something genuine is able to emerge.
